12.05.2020 - 12.05.2020 MS Matters: The evolving patient profile in MS –approaches to management
Location: Online webinar
With updates to the multiple sclerosis (MS) diagnostic criteria in 2017 and continual advances in disease-modifying therapy, the population profile of patients with MS has changed considerably over the last 10 years.1 On average, patients are now younger than before with lower levels of disability.2,3 Conversely, there is also a greater proportion of elderly patients with comorbidities.4 How should the MS care team adapt their approach when monitoring and treating the modern patient population?
These questions, and more, will be discussed in the first MS Matters webinar of 2020, via an interactive discussion between Professor Per Soelberg and Dr Melinda Magyari. The two experts will examine data on the evolving patient profile in MS and consider the management of such patients in relation to disease-modifying therapy, comorbidities and supportive therapies. You will have the opportunity to engage with the faculty and ask questions throughout the webinar.
We look forward to welcoming you at this online event and anticipate a lively, engaging discussion with a wide range of implications for clinical practice.
