Early symptoms of relapsing remitting MS vary from one patient to the other as the word ‘multiple’ can suggest but I would say that the vast majority of people with MS suffer from fatigue. Many of them come to neurologist for loss of vision or fatigability, for prolonged effort. The time course between the onset of the symptoms and the diagnosis can vary a lot from one subject to another. It’s becoming shorter and shorter because physicians, general practitioners are getting more aware of MS, so they refer the patient to the neurologist more often and more rapidly but still there are years between the actual onset and the actual diagnosis.
